2023 Season: Sept. 23 - Oct. 31
Make the day memorable by taking your family on a fun, outdoor adventure on our working farm just south of KC. Red Barn Ranch in Harrisonville, MO, is a local family-owned and operated farm that offers a charming country fall experience. We grow over 40 different U-pick pumpkins and several varieties of U-cut sunflowers. We offer an authentic charming country atmosphere that will remind you of Grandpa's farm. Many of our guests say they love it here because we aren't "so commercialized".
Enjoy your day with us picking out pumpkins, exploring our nature trail, riding through the pasture on the slingshot wagon ride, and swinging from the irrigation pivots. We have a giant slide that comes out of an antique red brick silo and another that zooms down the bed of Grandpa's grain truck. We offer a barrel train ride for kiddos. Your little ones can slide down the feed troughs into the corn pit to play! Come get lost in the corn maze!
Enjoy petting and feeding Happy, our Highland Calf, in the petting farm area. We also have a friendly little goat herd, alpacas, our sheep Baa Baa & Ruby, Mister Marshmallow the pig, and Taco the miniature donkey who loves to be scratched behind his ears. We have a pedal tractor area inside of a 90-year-old tractor barn, complete with a backdrop to make your own American Gothic selfie. Our farm is full of photo opportunities and picturesque backdrops at every turn.
On the weekends we have food to make your mouth water! Burgers, pulled pork quesadillas, and Bacon Cider Donuts to name a few. Kettle corn, snows cones, and cider donuts are also available! We have a nice selection of beer and local wines too!
Open for all activities Friday 1-6, Saturday 10-7, and Sunday 10-5 now through October 30th.
As the sun sets on Saturday night, you can find live music on the Silage Wagon Stage beginning at 6 pm until 10 pm. Let your little ones play in the corn pit and silo slide while you enjoy the music and company in our Edison light open-sided barn under the stars. We also have music on Sunday afternoons for a nice relaxing getaway before the week starts again.
We offer a reservable birthday party area that you can book on our website. We also offer private parties and events after hours and all year long, including weddings. Please visit our website for more information.
